What are good hours for a halloween party for 5 year olds?
Maggie518 asked:
I was planning on having the halloween party for my 5 year old on a saturday afternoon but, recently found out there is a community event that day. Is a night time party too late for 5 year olds or should I have it on a Sunday afternoon.
Suggestions on party times???

a 5 year old should only stay up untill about 8.30 max. i would suggest u have a party 4.00 till about 7.45
this would depend when sundown is at your house. It is about 6pm here and i would say a good time would be from 5.30 – 8pm.
hi i would wait till sunday as the kids will probably be worn out if they go to the community event. sun tea time 3-6 gives them time to get home after and ready for school the next day.
I think if you made the party fun for parents too, then an evening party would be fine, otherwise, I’d opt for Sunday. I prefer afternoon parties for kids, say between 2-4pm, because this gives the parents time to let their little ones wind down. Also, you won’t have to be responsible for dinner.
