Hi everyone-
So every year at my school there are a few people that throw an amazing halloween party that everyone in the school goes to and I am in charge of it this year. We have a venue and everything but I just need a few tips. Anyone have some pointers?
Thanks!

Make sure you everyone who’s invited is wearing a costume and has some sort of ID. Or believe me, you are going to have ALOT of party crashers. And party crashers love to ruin parties. Also don’t do vampires and wearwolves. Alot of Twilight fans will enjoy it, but everyone who doesn’t like Twilight will get pissed. So just go with traditional zombies and skeletons and stuff…oh, and do a haunted house.
Check out. They have a couple different Halloween hunts including a Halloween Scavenger Hunt Activity. There are four sections – a creative activity, cleverly themed scavenger hunt items, Halloween-themed trivia and Halloween-themed puzzles. It is great for any Halloween Party and perfect for when you have a group with mixed ages.
Hi
Here are top three things you can use to have a truly macabre party atmosphere:
a) Scary decorations: Halloween decorations, coupled with some special effects and haunting music, are enough to drive anyone crazy! There are surely hundreds of different types of Halloween decorations and props available from dollar stores, but if you really want to set a unique party theme, I would suggest that you make your own unique, decorations!
In fact, you even don’t need to do it yourself if you don’t have time; you can engage your kids, or the kids of your friends or neighbors in it instead. In fact I would say that kids are better at creating ghoulish decorations than adults!
b) Scary foods: If you thought you cannot scare your party guests with foods, you are wrong again! All you need is a creative bent of mind and you can make scary and ghoulish shapes out of simple foods such as cookies!
c) Halloween costumes: Contrary to the popular belief, you don’t need to spend a lot of money on Halloween costumes, even if you want the scariest one for yourself. I have found that if you start shopping as early as a month ahead of the Halloween season, you would not only get what you want but also be able to save a load of money! Remember that early shoppers are offered good discounts so as to attract them to the stores!
There are other things you can use to add to the scary theme of your party, such as games, contests, etc, but the three things I have told you about are the basics you must have!
Have a look at the link in the source box for some more great ideas.
Hope they help!
Take care
