Have them enter into the party. Have individual goodie bag pre set at there seats waiting, and put some decorations around the room. Set up little spots of fun, like a mini pumpkin to paint or (use markers) and tell them they can wear a costume. Or better yet make masks with some construction paper and yarn to hold it in place…. Then send them on there merry way. Good luck

In this day and age be careful you don’t offend some student’s parents by having one. I know……it’s stupid.

Go to a party store or dollar store and pick up a bunch of cheap halloween decorations. EIther that, or for the party itself, have the kids make their own decorations, like paper pumpkins an d ghosts. Let the kids bring their own costumes and wear them for the day. Get some cool spooky music from the party store- they usually have really cheap cds for halloween. When the actually party is going on, you can listen to the music while the kids are making their pumpkins/ghosts etc. Maybe you could make some rice crispy treats with orange food dye, and bat sprinkles on them- you can get those at any grocery for cheap. Also, make some spooky punch out of green gator aide or mixed fruit punch and float some ice cubes with plastic spiders or such things that are frozen in them.

Go ahead and have everything on their plates…use cookies instead of cupcakes so that you can “stack” the plates and bag them the night before. That will save the “passing out” time.
