think of a theme, like 70′s, and find clothes around your house that fit that theme.
Here are some ideas:
* Grab an old bed sheet nobody in your house cares about; cut eyeholes in it; and go as a ghost.
* Look through any old trunks and other clothing storage boxes you might have lying around your house. You might very well find some old clothes in there that you could use to make a decent Halloween costume.
* Check out your local thrift store. You should be able to find some good costumes for sale there for no more than a few dollars.
